Making the most of your trip
What does this mean? It means knowing what to do when you get there. Planning your trip requires a lot of time, energy and money, you want to make to most of your trip. It is easy to get caught up in China, get swept away by the exploding wealth, Chinese friendliness and generosity, jet lag, culture shock. But it is important to keep in mind why you are going. If you will be living and working there, it is important to look at real estate, different areas of town, traffic and commute time. But you should set aside some time to see the sights. Depending on how long you will be there, you will want to budget your time and prioritize. For example, if you have less time to get things done, you can postpone seeing the sights, for now. After all, if you will living there, you can see them whenver you have free time and really enjoy them!
