The People's Republic of China

The People's Republic of China is only a little over 50 years old. It is so named because the Communist leader of China, Mao Ze Dong, took over. In Communist doctrine, everything belongs to The People. The People's land, The People's money, The People's Republic. More to come.

South Korea is just across the Yellow Sea, East of China. This is not even about China wanting more land, but about a kingdom long ago, called Koguryo. Apparently, China kicked some feudal butt and Koguryo became part of China. But, South Korea says that this is not so.
